The asborometer application for iphone and Android has been featured in the Sun newspaper, many blogs and has over 100000 downloads on the itunes application store, where it was, for a while, the most downloaded free application. Jeff Gilfelt is a freelance software developer who created asborometer in five days using data sourced from the Government’s Open Data initiative, data.gov.uk
