Cool informative vid. Quick question, I was wondering once a phone or touch is jail broken, how do you get app store apps on it ever again? I mean wouldn’t iTunes want to synce, hence wiping the Cydia OS or whatever. Or can you just download direct to the phone as normal, bypassing having to synce with itunes.
@Teddy: You can sync and buy from the app store with a jailbroken phone. You can do ANYTHING that you can do with an unjailbroken one. Cydia is just another app store, not a different OS. All jailbreaking your phone does is alter the current firmware and install the Cydia app. The only thing that loses the jailbreak is updating with Apple’s official firmware.
The video should have mentioned SBsettings, because that alone is reason enough to jailbreak.
